I think some men take advantage of a women being submissive and being head of the household. If a man is taking his family down by doing what he wants to do he is going to be held accountable and will not prosper. Women should always have an input and what is best for the family needs to be done. If your with a man that won’t listen and thinks his way is always the best way that is a whole other issue! The women would just get fed up and leave. We can do bad by ourselves!
I think that if the man is not leading his family down the right path, it’s time to sit down and have a heavy discussion. It’s one thing to be submissive to a man that has your best interests at heart, and a totally different (not that smart) thing to allow your family to be taken to the fire, to the limit, to the wall, lol! I can’t just sit back and watch years of my life go down the drain just to protect someone’s pride. We have to go talk to the pastor, the deacon, somebody!
I believe in submission….to a point. You need to still need to use your common sense! Like Christina said, some men don’t have your best interests at heart. We as woman need to stop being led blindly. I try, C-Dub tries to let our home be led my the bible, but we know our strong points. We tend to discuss things and I give my opinion. And let him have the final say. Thank God he has good sense, but everyone once in a while…… And in those instances, I do step in as the other half and say no. Have you lost your damn mind??? LOL
