Just Another MANICure Monday….on Wednesday

Now that things are finally calming down I am ready to start linking back up and hosting MANICure Monday regularly. My fine co-hostess Efie has been holding it down in my absence and she is hosting this week so get over there and link up.

Oh…how I have missed polishing my nails. Seeing that I am still on cloud 1908 and will probably be for awhile don’t be surprised to see my nails in variations of pink and green. This week I went with the first pink I could get my hands on in my bin and wouldn’t you know the name of the color is “Tickled Pink” by Wet and Wild. How. Fitting!!

The coverage was decent for the lower priced line of Wet and Wild. I needed about 3 coats to get good coverage. I just painted them so I can’t talk to you about any chipping, however I did use my tried and true method to a longer lasting manicure.

A Perfect Fall Day

Today was the poster child for beautiful fall days. That day that you long for in the heat of summer. Just enough of a breeze to warrant a jacket but not enough to make you cold and just brisk enough to stir up fallen leaves.

Yes! I love fall.

My day started off normal, getting the kids off to school and then I had lunch with a mom that I met volunteering at my son’s school. She is cooler than a fan and we share a lot in common. I am thankful today that I am the kind of person that is trusting of others until they show me otherwise. I think I may have found a new friend. We ate at Mellow Mushroom and had a great time chatting.

I kept my attire simple and it is now Ugg season so those will stay plastered to my feet.

Motions and Walmart Event Recap

Disclosure

Hey!

A few week ago a few of my fellow Atlanta based bloggers and I partnered with Motions and Walmart to host an in store event at the Old National Highway location.

We had a great time speaking with patrons about Motions Heat Style products that are designed to assist natural girls in going from curly to straight and back to curly with minimal heat damage.
