Bye January. Hello February

Tossed out with the Christmas tree is the mild version of how January has left me feeling.

Business was off.

Financially trying to rebound from hosting Thanksgiving and Christmas was completely shaded when my car that just missed warranty mileage decided to break down and needed a VERY costly repair. Oh, about that emergency fund *rolls eyes*

Our garage door is broken and instead of just getting it fixed we decided we would get a new door then incident above happened. Operation garage door is off until further notice.

The hatred some of this country is proud of spewing and standing behind has been too much. TOO. MUCH

I’ve just been struggling to make sense of it all and keep going. My mind has been swirling at hundreds of miles an hour trying to figure out how to process some things to include analyzing a level of petty to get back at someone who came for me. I’m still in deliberation on whether I’m going to let it roll or execute a plan. I’ll keep you posted.

Despite all of the awful there was some good.

My Dad will be here for good on February 2. Las Vegas is a long way from Georgia, and we are so happy that we will get to see him more. He’s just 10 miles down the road now.

I spent a wonderful weekend in the North Carolina mountains celebrating my bestie that is getting married in a few weeks.

Despite all that is going on, health and a pure love of life allowed me to get through January without completely melting into the floor in a puddle of my own tears. This one was rough, but I’m still standing and ready for February with high expectations of great things!

Here’s to February!

Cheers!! I have been there, but the good thing is that you can hit the restart button and keep it moving.

Yayyy thanks for the memo for the free trial month ! I’ll take full advantage of it and start again in Feburary. Life happens and we keep pushing forward because we are conquerors even when we feel defeated we must dig deep down for the Stregth.

I don’t know what goes on in the mind of some people, but it’s troubling. I’m trying to limit the amount of news that I watch because it’s too much nonsense going on.

February is definitely the new January around these parts. I had to hit the mute and unfriend button on a few folks because of their foolishness. Racism and discrimination can NOT be justified no matter what the situation is. It amazes me how some folks can defend hatred like it’s a good thing. Here’s to a better February for us all!
