Life Random

Hi.

Where do I start. I feel like it has been forever since I’ve been here.

Did you miss me?

So much to catch up on. I’ve missed you!!

First things first. Happy belated Mother’s Day….and yes that includes those of you who only have furbabies.

I am happy to announce that I have finally completed my MBA. The road was long, so long that I had a job, my mom died, I quit said job, had a baby and a whole bunch of other nonsense transpired but I never stopped and four years after starting I finally finished. I finished, and that’s all that matters. Please let that be an encouragement to you to continue whatever you are working at. If you started…FINISH!!!! I’m so serious.

I got an iPhone!!! Last we spoke I was holding out for the new one until sweet baby girl completely destroyed my old one on the same day as my upgrade…Look at God!!!

Speaking of…Sweet baby girl turned 2. We didn’t have a party. Funds were low…enough said. She had some cupcakes and we sang, she didn’t know the difference.

My son’s last day of school is next Friday. It seems like just yesterday that I blogged about his first day and now he has completed his first year of elementary school. Now, what to do with the kids for the summer.

Pray.

How was your weekend/Mother’s Day? What have you been up to? Give me a week to catch up and I’ll be by your blogs.

It feels good to be back.

*doing the snake or some type of fun dance* yay congrats to you doesn’t matter when you finish just as long as you finish. School is about to end and this summer I have no idea what to do with them but it will go by fast so I am not worried. Glad you are back and Happy mothers day to you.

Awesome and congratulations on finishing your degree! I’m sure if your mom was alive she’ll be very proud of you. I agree with you, no matter what comes up, don’t give up on your dreams.

I’ve also been holding out for a new phone, just gotta keep Zee entertained with the toys that don’t make noise at the moment.

WOW! What a testimony you have Mimi. Congratulations to you. Happy belated birthday to your princess & a BIG Happy Mothers Day! You are so right…when you start something…FINISH it! It’s always worth it in the end!
I’m sending my 6 year old to summer camp (not overnight LOL) and possible a baseball camp for 4 weeks (not overnight LOL). 3 year old baby girl is still in daycare, so you know that’s year round.
    Keep on pushing!

Woo hoo!!! Get it Mama!! Congrats on finishing your MBA!!! I love these stories because they help keep me focused on the pursuit of my degree. Girl, I hope you don’t feel bad about the party for little bits – as you said, she didn’t know a thing. My son is 3.5 and we haven’t had a party yet. **shrugs** At 5 when he’s old enough to really get it, we’ll do it. ***so jealous of team iPhone***

Congratulations, Mimi! And I agree with you – if you start something, do everything in your power to finish it. I hope you’re proud of yourself, you really should be.

I’ve been in that situation before — having plans to do something “big” for my kids’ birthdays and something comes up and I couldn’t do it. But most times, the simplest things make kids the happiest. I’ve learned this and up until their teenage years, I’m sure I’ll be able to get away with “simple” parties.

I hope your Mother’s Day was a great one!
