{kinda} Wordless Wednesday- Football Season

Football practice is in full swing around here. Prior to my husband being named the coach of my son’s team I spoke about being a hypocrite and making my son play football this year. So far he is really shining and is proving my theory right. His dad has been working with him non stop and it is showing. He actually looks forward to going to practice. I’m so proud of him.

I told y’all I knew what I was talking about….this time.

Ayyyyeeee. Peep my little photo bomber!

Love it. We are a house full of cheerleaders. Both of my daughters will be doing some side line cheering this year. Great pic.

I suppose the cheering bug hits early. My 3 year old keeps asking if she can cheer. I will become a cheer mom next year!

I’m happy for him! I’m just glad it’s something he’s enjoying and not something he sees as a punishment.

My little Addy got in there! lol

Me too! I was worried for a minute. He quickly got over that. I think what helped to he ended up on a team with children who have similar skill abilities versus the other team he was on where it seems like they were handed a football out of the womb.

My son’s been going to football practice too and all he does is complain about it. Nice to see a kid who’s enjoying it.

My son did too at first. I think with age, and finally understanding the game do they start to enjoy it…or not!

I think sports really does teach them some of the basics like teamwork and sportsmanship.

Glad to hear that he is enjoying football. And I’m pretty sure he’s enjoying all the extra quality time he gets to spend with the Mr too!

Yes! He is enjoying it. Unfortunately he gets mad when he has to run laps because the other children aren’t listening. He doesn’t quite get that there is no preferential treatment for him.

It is always fun when they get to the point of organized sports. Unfortunately it wears Mama out!
