Motions and Walmart Event Recap

Disclosure

Hey!

A few week ago a few of my fellow Atlanta based bloggers and I partnered with Motions and Walmart to host an in store event at the Old National Highway location.

We had a great time speaking with patrons about Motions Heat Style products that are designed to assist natural girls in going from curly to straight and back to curly with minimal heat damage.

Motions Heat Style

I had a great time speaking about the product and its contents. As you all know I am not a “serious” natural if you will. I use products and if they work, they work. I’m not into the chemical make up of products, again if they work for me they work. I am proud to say this line worked well with my hair. The cleanser was light and left my hair feeling moisturized. The conditioner states to use sparingly and that is exactly what you should do. I got a little happy and it left my hair a little sticky but if you follow the instructions like I did the second time around you will be fine.

The customers were really interested in hearing about the line and within one hour we had passed out the 50 free gift bags we had.

The remainder of the evening we played a few games for the big prizes that included a Chi flat iron, full sized Motions Heat Style products and a Laila Ali bonnet dryer. Efie came through to support and ended up winning one of the prize baskets!

I can’t tell you how much fun I had interacting with some of my blog readers and other guests that came by to support

I had a great time hanging out with my fellow Atlanta bloggers getting the word out about affordable hair products for our hair.

I need to try some of these products. The only thing I’ve been using in my hair is olive oil. I haven’t had the time to try out any new products. Hmmm….

Olive oil is always good. I always end up mixing it in with whatever products I am using. These products are really good.

I’ve been waiting for this post and wanted to hear your thoughts on how well the products work. I haven’t seen these at the Walmarts near me just yet but I’m sure they’re on their way.

Keep an eye for them. They are great for the price. I think they should be right around $6.
