Blogging for me started off as just an outlet and something to do to help me connect with the outside world while I was adjusting to my life as a SAHM with a small baby.
After spending a ton of time reading other blogs and perusing the blogosphere I naturally wanted to start growing my brand and blog without losing my own voice.
I don’t think I would be off to say that some of us would like to see our blogs grow, but are not sure where to start or the first step to take.
Fret not, my friends. Nadia Jones who some of you may know as Justice Jonesie is kicking off her inaugural Niche Mommy blog Conference in New Orleans, LA.
The Niche Mommy Conference is the first conference for the multicultural and diverse mom blogger and those bloggers that embrace diversity. All are welcome, even

The conference will take place August 23- 26 in New Orleans La. beignets anyone? Hotel accomodations are at The Roosevelt Hotel a Waldorf-Astoria collection..Niiiice! Conference organizers promise that you will leave knowing how to grow and expand your brand and blog. Information and sessions are promised to be dynamic and interactive for new and old bloggers alike.

April 1, 2012 at 6:21 pmI would to see a session devoted to blogger unity because I think that there are a lot of clicks and other bloggers out there that don’t help other bloggers because they don’t want them to get a head. I can’t even begin to talk about the number of bloggers I first reached out to for just simple stuff like how to pre-schedule automatic posts. I think that there’s enough success and opportunity out there for us all to still be successful if we helped others. So, I think a session devoted to encouraging bloggers to help other bloggers would be a great.

Or even acknowledgement of certain readers that have been in constant support of a growing blog. Also a session on how to market your blog when it’s brand new is a great. Learning how to grow a following is very tough starting off. If there were a session that explained the ‘tried’ and ‘true’ tips to making this happen would be a huge benefit!

On another note— like mentioned above– I would also like to see a session on beginning stages of starting a blog. When I first started, it was so hard to get pointers from other bloggers— so I spent( and still do) many hours and nights trying to understand just the basics of blogging. I would also love to see a session on branding and maybe how to manage your blog, home and life!
