So I mentioned earlier in the week that we are going to start a tradition of cutting down our Christmas tree and I am proud to say that the Mr. is on board.
We still have family in town so it will likely be next week before we can get around to it but I am so excited to start a new tradition for our family. I am slowly pulling out the Christmas decorations and I have every intention to have the house decked out by the end of the weekend.

November 28, 2015 at 3:57 pmWe haven’t put up our tree because the husband wants to wait until December. I think he’s putting it off because he hates putting the lights up outside. I cannot wait though! I love the Christmas season.

December 1, 2015 at 6:12 pmA couple of years ago, we went to a farm and cut down our own tree. It was a great family experience. However, we have private garbage collection and they wouldn’t take the tree away. I had to get special permission from a city official for our local recycling center to take it. Needless to say, we’re back to our artificial tree! We put it up last week.
