#OurProject52 13/52 – Spring

Ummmmm….how are we already 13 weeks into the new year?!! Time is moving. Spring is here to stay…hopefully. I’ve been spending these cool, bug free nights on my porch in my thoughts and feels the last few days. Nothing more peaceful.

This week the prompt was Spring.

Macro photography, in other words getting a really close shot of an object is an art that I haven’t quite mastered but one that I really want to explore more in the coming months. Nothing says Spring like a flower getting ready to open.

Shot with Canon 60mm 2.8 lens

Tip:  Macro setting can be found on most cameras. Some point and shoots have them. It sometimes looks like a face with a flower. Don’t quote me, refer to your manual if you don’t see something similar. This setting gives you the ability to get up close and personal with your subject without thinking about the settings. Another way is to invest in a good DSLR lens where the aperture ranges between  2.8 and lower.

Thanks for linking up last week. Loved seeing your personal choices and will be around to comment this week. Be sure to visit Lashawn and see her interpretation of “Spring”

this is so beautiful…there is something magical about spring. I read a quote about how things just come alive in spring without any real prompting.

I love Spring because it’s not too hot and there are a lots less bugs. I’m not looking forward to mosquitoes when it gets hotter.

Spring is one of my favorite times of the year. The weather is perfect for enjoying the outdoors. Your flower shot is so pretty, can’t wait to see it in full bloom. #ourproject52
