Punkin’ Patch

I’m only a week late but better late than never. Last Friday, October 14 to be exact was my son’s 6th birthday. Every year I say we aren’t going to do anything and every year we end up doing something. For the past few years, I wanted to take them to the pumpkin patch but the Mr. said that was lame. Well I made the executive decision this year for us to go and who knew….he had a good time!

We had a ball. At first I felt a little bad that I wasn’t feeding everybody but at $10/person and nearly 30 people in attendance including parents we had to cut corners but it all worked out. The place was a working farm. They had hayrides, a corn maze, bounce house, a train ride, and a ton of other stuff for the children to do. They barely wanted to eat the cupcakes and take pictures before they were off and running. I can’t believe my baby is 6.

Here’s a few pictures of our outing.

Seeing that I was taking snapshots all day, I had to get one photog shot. This is cotton by the way

  1. Your photography skills are amazing. I love your eye.

The kids look adorable. The biggest questions is; “Are you going to make a pumpkin dish now”?

The Pumpkin Patch is big fun. I went one a loooong time ago during my student teaching.
