She So Random

It’s a Saturday night and I can’t believe I’m almost done with NaBloPoMo. This was a stretch but I am further at this point than I was last year so I can press on these last few days. That being said I have nothing meaningful to write about so I’ll do a random post to update you on what’s been going on around here

* Lil Mama is talking now. Talking alot. Words include..Mine, I had first, Cup, Eat, and last night she said Christmas lights. Even though we have weaned she calls milk in her cup “nurse” and she calls my boobs “cup” Awwwwww!!

* Lil Man is doing good in school, and while I encourage his learning potential the amount of questions that he asks in a day is mind boggling. Some of this stuff I have no answers for. Want an example. ” Mommy, why does God give us a pointer finger if its not polite to point?” See….

* I have decided to relaunch my T-shirt line. For those of you new around here I started a faith based apparel line and financially I wasn’t able to make it happen like I wanted. I now have an investor (The Mr.) He dropped me a large sum of $ and told me I had no excuse, and to go after my dreams. Loooooove him. The pressure is on. I am going to rebrand and hopefully in a couple of weeks I’ll have a sneak peek for you. I have retained a PR firm to help with the marketing/social media  and other things that overwhelmed me. Sometimes you can’t do everything. I am excited to see where this will go with some professional assistance.

*My car is a mess. No matter how hard I try its futile. Tell me your car is a mess too.

*Lil Mama does this weird thing where she licks on fabric when she’s tired. I’m not sure about that. Is she normal?

* I made egg nog cupcakes. I had every intention on posting to the blog but they turned out a disaster. If you want to have a go at it, here’s the recipe. I plan to try again…maybe.

Don't these look rich and moist? Mine were dry and arrid

* My children’s sleep schedule is all off. I guess that’s our fault. We are a little lax on stuff like that during holidays. But starting next week, these folks are in the bed at 9:00.

Welp, that’s all I have.  Hope your weekend is going well

Don’t forget to enter the Shabby Apple Dress Giveaway here!! I will pick the winner Sunday evening at 10p.

I had an idea for a line a while ago and I put it on the back burner 🙁 Can’t wait to make my first Glossy Tee purchase. In other news, as far as the 69 Boyz Christmas tragedy… I blame you! LOL!

That’s so cute about lil mama! And great about your little guy…..but I’m so not excited for Izzy to get to age of a million questions, lol!
You know I’m always excited to see my bloggy peeps following their dreams,so congrats on that!
My car is a mess too. Mainly because of Izzys things, but still. I could do better. But I probably won’t!
Izzy holds a blanket to her nose when she’s tired. But it has to be one of those microfiber ones, that are super soft, and fuzzy. She’ll even offer you a piece, lol! No idea what that’s about!
My from scratch cakes never turn out that great. Any other baked good,i can do, but I’ve never made a cake where everything was just right.

Yay for restarting your t shirt line! And how wonderful that the mister is your main supporter!
    Lil Mama…awwwwww!
I can already see that Pookah is going to be like Lil Man! He will talk me to death with the few words he already knows!
Pookah likes to put his hand under my shirt when he’s tired. SMH
And my car is a disaster area!! I’m so ashamed!

Congrats on the business restart! That is so exciting!!!! Girl I made cupcakes for Thanksgiving and even though I have a cupcake BUSINESS, my folks had the nerve to complain about the FREE cupcakes. LOL Put those dry ones out anyway and as my grandmother says “if they’re hungry they’ll eat em” LOL

    You are so funny.

Congrats on your t-shirt business! I’m all about supporting, so I’m waiting for your relaunch. An excuse to buy something for myself. 🙂

As for the car, mine used to be a mess every day. But the hubby got us a new one and said that if I dirtied it up, he’d make me drive the old car. So I’ve been good. 🙂 But don’t ask me about my house.

My almost-three year old has been off her sleep schedule for over a week now. No fun. She’s crazy when she’s not getting her regularly scheduled sleep.

And last, but certainly not least, the fabric thing — I can’t say it’s the first time I’ve heard of such a thing. I know a little girl that sucked on her blankie all the time (at the time, she was about six years old). No worries, though — your daughter won’t go to prom licking on fabric. 🙂

    Have a good week!

The post about Lil Man and Lil Mama are sweet.

I like that you’ve posted everyday about different topics. These are my favorite types of blogs because of the variety.

Whoooo…these chatty girls! Once Lovegirl started talking she never stopped. I think that child of mine talks in her sleep!! And she used to lick me when she was tired. I’d of preferred fabric.

My car is a horrid mess. But it’s cleaner than it was last week. Baby steps 🙂

How wonderful that your hubby is so supportive! Can’t wait to see what you come up with.

I’ve never made a good cupcake. Never. I give.

    Have a great week!

Congrats on restarting your T-shirt business! Wishing you the best of luck.

Lil Mama sounds so cute! As for the car, I just got mine cleaned. Told Mr.C that I can’t do it on my own (that and I had months of dirt on it and in it. Zee likes collecting leaves and leaving it in the car. We had dried leaves in there before Autumn.)

Congrats on relaunching your t-shirt line! I really liked it and look forward to seeing it up and running again soon. . . oh and about licking fabric, yes, that is weird, but I used to eat lint when I was little. Now that is strange! LOL!

My car is most definitely a hot mess EVERY DAY. **shrugs** I’ve got other ish to spend my time worrying about. I’m super proud of all you NaBloPoMo folks.
DUDE! There is no BUTTER in the actual recipe. No Butter equals dry and arrid. That recipe gets a fail from me.
Big high 5 to the Mr. for investing in his baby girl’s dream. Love that!

Once they start talking they’ll never ever stop!:) You really should launch your line again. I have an idea for a children’s line. All mapped out on paper. I just need to get off my but. Everyone tells me my ideas for my line are unique..but I’m still unsure. Let’s have courage going into 2012!

Awww thanks! Yes. It’s amazing when you have fleeting thoughts to do so many things and you never remember them. Well I have been at this for 5 years. I always say I am done with the vision but it just won’t rest. So this time I am going to work the plan and give it all I have. God must have something for me. I am listening this time.
