Children Lil Mama Lil Man Mama's Babies Mompreneur Nail Polish Random

This and That Thursday

Here’s some randoms..

Okay. Addison has turned into this diva child over night. I don’t know where it came from but I am daily finding myself trying to mask laughter while attempting to scold her for some of her ridiculous and mean behavior. Lately all of the pictures I have been taking of her look like this…I wonder where she gets it from

My son is doing really well in school. He is  reading on a 5th grade level. I went and visited a private school that is not far from our new house. I fell in love with it. Although we don’t know how we will pay for it, we are going to let him test in and figure it out later…Faith anyone?

I am finally coming to grips with the fact that a new Divinitee line will have to be put off until the Spring. I just can’t make the money appear and with the astronomical amount of money that we have to come up with for the new house right now I don’t see it…I am finally fine with that.

I am getting a lot of new opportunities for this here blog.  I am turning down some things but you will start to see a few more giveaways and sponsored posts. If I am presented something that I am interested in or is child centric I am going to bring it here with the thought that you might be interested in it as well. NOPE this will not become a giveaway/review blog, but what kind of cyber home girl would I be if I didn’t share good and useful information/products with you?!!

I am on the hunt for a pair of printed leggings. Preferably a pair that make me look “thick.”

One of our cars will be paid off next month!!! OMG, I talked all that mess about driving it until the wheels fall off and saving up half of the money for our next car purchase and now I can’t wait until we close on the house so I can get a new car…I know.

I am back to my old ways. I was doing good and then last week alone I bought a whopping 12 bottles of nail polish…and the cycle starts again. Every time I go in the store I have to buy a new bottle. Since I am so passionate about nail polish be on the look out Mondays for my link up where you can come and show off your newest manicure. Be ready on Monday okay?!

The baby is sick with a runny nose and a cough. We were up all last night and guess what…I feel the tingle in my throat. :-/

What’s been going on in your world?

Girl we are done with one car and mines will be done next month. I can’t wait we will be able to start saving a little. We won’t be buying a new car unless we have too. I may buy a truck if I get a job in the future that’s about it. Hope you all feel better soon.

12 bottles of nail polish!? I’m so jealous right now 🙂 But seriously, congratulations on all the new opportunities coming your way. Who knows maybe God is giving using the hiatus from Divinitee as an opening for other things. I’ll definitely be back for mani Monday 🙂

    DIVA!
I paid off my car earlier this year. It is so freeing. I am trying my best not to buy another one right now. I will ride it until the wheels fall off.
Pookah had the croup last week. Now, I just have a plain old cold.
    It sucks.
Can’t wait to see what new opportunities you’ve found!

Tell Addy to get it together with the Diva Tude! lol. I really think its just a 2yr old thing. I’m working on snapping Jas out of it before it even really begins.

Your son is a smarty! I love that. I was the exact same way at his age. Instead of my mom skipping me up which she could have done i was just placed in higher grade classes for whatever subjects I was overachieving in. I remember having 5th grade English and math when i was in the 2nd grade.

Give the Divinitee up to God. It’ll work out for sure.

Once you are done with car payments you won’t want any more for awhile. I thought I wanted a new car but once I didn’t have to pay that $300 a month any more I wasn’t even thinking about it. That is, until I was in ATL and drove that edge for a week. Now I really want one! *weeps*

I hope you and Addy get better soon.

That picture. LOL Yeah, that’s a lot of ‘tude for a little person. Just too cute.

Yay for the car being paid off. Every time I think we’re done, we end up with a new note. Praising God that they’ve all been within a few dollars of what we’re used to paying.

Congrats on the new blog opportunities! If you find some leggings (or a dress or jeans or anything) that has the ability to make a non-thick person look thick, please let me know; I need a closet full, LOL 🙂 Hope you don’t get sick!

Congratulations on the new opportunities. It feels good to see the fruit of your labor and creativity.

Little Miss A has the pose going on tough.

It warms my heart to hear about little guy’s academic accomplishments. That’s fantastic.

She is just the best little diva EVAH.

I usually get my nails done on fridays so I think I will take a pic (today) and come back and link up.

Congrats on paying off your car. You have either freed up more money for your house (or for more nail polish, I’m not sure which)

Excited about the blog opportunities, you totally deserve your shine!

    Have an awesome weekend.

    Congrats on the new opportunities!

The little diva is so cute. It IS hard to keep a straight face while trying to tell the little one about their behavior.

I’m so jealous of the 12 bottles of polish, I’ve been on a polish fast for the past month. I really want to get some new colors, so I am really looking forward to monday.

I know what you mean about paying off the car. Our goal is to have the car paid off in full in 2 more years. Finally to have some extra money in our pockets.

    5th grade level? That’s amazing.

I WISH I could afford to send my children to private school but since next week will be my last week at work because of a layoff, I don’t see that happening anytime soon, so public school it is. I really can’t complain though. Their schools are pretty good.

Good luck with everything (house, new car, clothing line). Be patient. Everything will fall into place.

Girl, you’re so funny. “Thick.” You can borrow some of mine!

That is awesome that your son is doing so well with his reading. Reading comprehension is so vital at the elementary school age. Do you know there are high-schoolers who barely read at the 5th grade level? Crazy, but thankfully something you’ll never have to worry about.

I usually get bored with review blogs, but I already know your style, girl. And I already know you’re gonna keep it honest and super homegirl-like. And throw in your random posts like these that make us feel like we just got off the phone with you. (That probably sounded weird, but I think you know what I mean.)

And that picture of Addison — funny! She’s got little boss written all over her face!

Hope everybody in your house feels better soon!
