Weekend Shenanigans

The first weekend in this neck of the woods was uneventful.

My stepdaughter spent Christmas with us. Unfortunately it was time for her to go home, so on Saturday we all piled in the car and took the 4 hour drive to Tallahassee.

They all slept the entire way…..I’m not included in they. I only slept for an hour each way

Outside of the trip to Tallahassee I finally rolled my sleeves up and got to work on finishing the Laundry Room . It only took me 5 months to start. Nevermind what I said here. I’ll do a full in depth before and after of the space later in the week.

    The laundry room looks so much fresher with the new paint, and I LOVE that safety pin sculpture! You’re making me want to do something in my laundry room! (Cause it’s not like the laundry ever actually gets done anyway, so….)

    I spent my weekend trying to finish my second book, and actively avoiding leaving the house. Neither of those worked out, lol!

    I love your color choice for the Laundry room. It snowed Thursday and Friday and mini-me started football on Saturday, and he back to school today.

    Wow. That laundry room looks so much brighter all ready! Can’t wait to see the finished product. It’s actually cold here in Texas this morning. It was just 60 degrees the other day and now it’s below freezing. I’m not complaining though cause it’ll be hot by March I’m sure. Didn’t you start bathroom reno too? How’s that coming along?

    I spent my weekend relaxing for a change. It’s rare these days so I just soaked it all up. My uncle came into town and BBQ’d and we just hung out. It was great. Now back to reality for me.

    Your laundry room is looking good with the new paint on the walls and doors! My weekend was good went Orlando to visit family, the weather here is really cold, our low tonight will be 43 and tomorrow 37 but just in time for the weekend we jumo back up to 79 and 82……gotta love Florida!!

    I’m the worst at falling asleep on my husband when he’s driving! He makes fun of me all the time, but something about being in the car and I’m out like a light . . .Can’t wait to see your laundry room when it’s done! Ours is more of a closet but I Pin laundry rooms for my someday home. I’m kind of obsessed with laundry and look forward to a dedicated full room someday. We got a nice break in the cold today but we’re about to get it bad the next few days. Stay bundled!

    My weekend was beyond lazy. I left the house once to go grocery shopping. By myself. I was in heaven.
