DIY Winter Stovetop Potpourri

Thank you to Cuties for partnering with Unlikely Martha and sponsoring this post.

Citrus, cranberry, rosemary and cinnamon notes are perfect for the holiday season. They pair well together creating a fragrance that is a little bit sweet with a warm undertone. During this season we keep Cuties in abundance for lunch and snacks, so I just recycle the peels in my potpourri.

An affordable and easy gift idea for teachers is simply gathering old Cuties peels along with cranberries and any other items you think would make for a great smelling potpourri, packaging them together and tying with a bow for gifting. This all natural fragrance is won’t set off anyone’s allergies and in my book qualifies as a handmade gift which in fact I happen to think are extra special.

We’ll have no problem putting together gift bags of homemade potpourri around here with all of the Cuties peels that we’ve accumulated. It’s Cuties season and my babies can’t get enough of them. Certified non GMO these are the perfect sweet treat and make my life easier as I struggle through these last weeks of packing lunch for the year. Since they are easy to peel I just put two in Addison’s lunch and she is able to peel them herself when she is ready to eat.

#100DaysofSunshine

This gift giving season Cuties is encouraging us to get out there and be kind to our friends, family, neighbors and strangers with their #100Daysof Sunshine initiative! However that looks for you, make an effort to put a little sunshine in someone’s day either through a kind word, or the sweetest gift in the form of a fruit basket or simply leaving a cutie on a desk or special place.
