Just Another MANICure Monday – Sinful Colors Pink Forever

I know. I’ve been slacking on getting my MANICure posts up but with all of the house painting around the house I haven’t really taken out the time to get my hands together. Hopefully moving forward I will make this more of a priority.

Anywhooooo. Alisha is pouring virtual wine and showing off mani’s. She’s hosting the link up this week.

I am always raving on the fact that I like Sinful Colors better than some of the higher dollar brand polishes and this color is one of the reasons why. I admit it needed a few more coats than an Essie but for the price I can do that.

I’m done with winter and in my head it is spring so that is why I went with this color. I love it.

Don’t you dare say a word about my cuticles. Not a word. These nails barely got painted.

The link up this week is over at Alisha’s. You have until Friday to get over there and show off your MANICure. Don’t be like me. Take the time out to pamper yourself. I tell you a shiny, pretty nail goes a long way!

Just Another MANICure Monday

Hey!

This is the first link up of the new year and I promise stability and great things on Mondays in 2014. So make it your business to paint your nails on Sunday evenings while watching your shows and come link up with us on Mondays.

MANICure Monday is starting off the new year with a new hostess. I want to welcome Alisha from Coilylocks.com to the mix. She takes her nail art to another level and shares a love for nail art and polish like Efie and I do. She is going to be an awesome fit.

I’m hosting this week. Linky will be open until Friday!

Seeing that I have tons of polish that I haven’t even touched I am making it my business to try the colors that I haven’t tried before. If I don’t like them they will be given away. Sad to say the color I used this week will be the first casualty.

I used Finger Paint color “Whose Hue” and my question is Whose idea was it to make this color. I don’t like it. I suppose it could be that it doesn’t look well on my skin color. It is a purplish color with a tad bit of sparkle.

I couldn’t deal with the color by itself so I added a little metallic- Essie “Penny Talk” the gold did a little something but I don’t know how long this will last 🙁

Looked a little something like this:

Just Another MANICure Monday….on Wednesday

Now that things are finally calming down I am ready to start linking back up and hosting MANICure Monday regularly. My fine co-hostess Efie has been holding it down in my absence and she is hosting this week so get over there and link up.

Oh…how I have missed polishing my nails. Seeing that I am still on cloud 1908 and will probably be for awhile don’t be surprised to see my nails in variations of pink and green. This week I went with the first pink I could get my hands on in my bin and wouldn’t you know the name of the color is “Tickled Pink” by Wet and Wild. How. Fitting!!

The coverage was decent for the lower priced line of Wet and Wild. I needed about 3 coats to get good coverage. I just painted them so I can’t talk to you about any chipping, however I did use my tried and true method to a longer lasting manicure.
