Weekend Vlog – Landscape. Shopping. The Sprinkler

This weekend was a little busy and unstructured, just how I like them. We ventured out to Target, and I finally got a Sams card. We got out in the yard and did some lawn work, you can see progress photos here. Outside of that we had a great weekend, the weather was decent. I can’t complain.

Weekend vlog is up!

Spring Landscape Cleaning

I’ve mentioned before what a hot mess my yard looked like when we moved into this home a little over a year ago. Overgrown bushes turned into trees, random debris and rabid rose bushes throughout the yard are just a few of the major infractions, that I’m surprised weren’t cited by the HOA.

The fall we moved in I shared with you here the first stage of the front yard makeover. I knew we would eventually get to the back and side of the house, that time has finally come nearly a year and a half later….but who’s counting.

Sunday Snapshots

As much as I blog for you…I really do. One major part of blogging for me is to document times in my family’s life that I am sure we will be happy to look back on years from now. Daily I capture and freeze in time memories that otherwise wouldn’t have been captured if it weren’t for the sake of good content! I’m just being honest.

For those that don’t blog documenting every minute…okay not every minute but probably every 20 minutes of your day is not at the top of your list, but it is of mine. I’ve decided to implement a weekly series called Sunday Snapshots that will display all of my IG photos from the previous week, more specifically Sunday – Saturday. This is the first and last week that this post will have words….and if you don’t want to be tardy to the party and wait until Sunday to catch up….please feel free to follow me on Instagram!

Fab Top Five – Top 5 Drugstore Beauty Finds for Spring

With each season beauty brands give us the best they have to persuade us to purchase the next hottest color or formula for the upcoming season. Reeling off the deep colors from Autumn and Winter the bright pastels and happy colors are welcomed.

As I mentioned in my Milani post last week, I am really looking forward to adding to my beauty arsenal. While I’m not submerged in beauty products around here I do have a few favorites to share. Seeing that I am cheap, I have yet to splurge on some of the bigger items so I stick to my CVS or Walgreens for the majority of my beauty product purchases.
