There is nothing particularly news worthy occurring on the home building front. The builder is currently waiting on the plat map so that we can get a good idea of exactly where the house will sit on the lot. We are getting close. It is my understanding that hopefully within three weeks we will see the actual building start. With it being a new development there is so much paperwork and permits to be obtained so that is the hold up. So for now this is what we have to look at
We are also contending with an issue of how the front of the house is going to look. Since the home is a three story there is currently not a model in the Atlanta area like it for us to gauge how tall the roof line will look with the third story.
We were provided a few options and one of them we both took a liking too because it offered a porch, a two car garage that only had one garage door and double front doors. It has a very craftsman feel which I like but I’m just afraid how they currently have the roof specs done that the house will be a bobble head. This week we are trying to work with the builder to see if they will consider making a few changes to accommodate the roof size.
Other than that we are still waiting on word from the bank regarding approval of the short sale. In the meantime since it is time to put summer things away and prepare for fall I am planning to use that time to carefully pack things away and properly label them so I don’t have to worry with that as it comes closer to time to move.
On a personal note I have been on a bit of a rollercoaster ride. There are times when I question if all of the pieces will work together and then I remind myself that it only requires a mustard seed size amount of faith and I get it together. There is so much that needs to be done but I am confident that it will all work in our favor. Faith without works is dead!
Hopefully the next update will be more exciting. Please keep our family in your thoughts and prayers that everything works in our favor. I would do the same for you!
