It’s that time of the week.
The party is over at Efie’s this week.
My inspiration this week was based on the holidays and the lovely red color that I picked up from CVS during their 50-75% off beauty sale last week. I added in some silver and a little gold for a little holiday nail cheer.

This week I kept my manicure a little simple because I had a crazy weekend and by the time I was able to sit down and do my nails I was two sheets in the wind mentally and physically.
This week I used:
Sally Hansen/Pumice: Orly/ Too Fab: NYC/ Matte Me Crazy
I painted with the gray, added the glitter top coat and then finished off with the matte polish. The effect is pretty neat. I wasn’t able to successfully convey it in the photo but it is completely matte and the gold flakes add a little bling against the matte polish…and yes, I probably should’ve put a little lotion on before I took this photo :-/

I haven’t been feeling very creative lately but I’ve been dying to try out some polka dots on my nails. Seeing that this was my first time I thought I should keep it to two nails so I did my accent nails with a few dots. I love how they turned out.

I’m hosting this week and I always love to have you but this week I feel like I have company and my house isn’t clean because I couldn’t get my nail art to work so I had to keep it simple this week to save my nerves from being rattled.
Well I see my co host La Lynns rocked it this week. *hangs head in shame*
So I decided I would have a glass of wine, watch RHOA and paint my nails. Bad combo. I think the wine was making my hand a bit jittery. TRAGIC. I was going for this

I won’t show you what I ended up with but it was a MESS! By then I had really drank too much wine so instead I opted to stick with two very warm colors that remind me of harvest season and Thanksgiving…Booooring. Maybe next week.
I used: Finger Paints/Free Fawn and Revlon/Smoky Canvas
Moral of the story is don’t drink wine and attempt to paint your nails!!
