It’s kind of sad how little I get out of the house some weeks other than carpool and the usual errands. I picked up a few clients and am really now a WAHM instead of a moonlighting one so the leisure I once had to come and go as I please has been replaced with more structure, meaning I don’t really get dressed up like I used to.
Yesterday I took a trip to Target and decided that at LEAST once a week I would put on real clothes and attempt to look decent.
I’m already plotting on my Spring wardrobe. I haven’t really done a lot of shopping and I don’t plan to do a lot of retail shopping outside of the basics for the coming season. I’m on a money saving kick right now. So I’m telling you there will be lots of repeats…and money in the bank.
In a few weeks I shall hit 36 which I also consider the slide to 40 and I believe I should dress as such so lots of classic pieces with a hint of trend here and there….and leopard print. I love this jacket, it has sequins on it, so not sure if that meant it should be dressed up but I do what I want and decided to pair it with this leopard print blouse, some skinnies and boots.

January 9, 2015 at 12:05 pmOur styles are so similar. I love my boring classics as one of my friends calls them! I think they are age appropriate and just set the background for anything.

January 9, 2015 at 1:31 pmI love how you mixed patterns! Yes, it is hard to get motivated to dress up when you work from home. I feel your pain! Thanks for sharing on #FashionFriday.

January 9, 2015 at 9:20 pmCute jacket. One of my goals this year is to look cute more often. So that means I’ll be getting dolled up to go to the library and Kroger.
