Friday evening Addison and I along with one of my very good friends and her daughter stepped out to the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Center for the ultimate Friday girls night out to see Super Why Live.
Upon arriving she was on diva ‘tude mode because she wasn’t able to get her nap out.
Her attitude was short lived. The show started off with a bang. Captivated her attention the entire time. The show was full of fun special effects that at times had me wondering how they were done. From flying space ships that descended from the top of the stage to an acrobat twirling on two long pieces of fabric suspended in mid air. There was not a dull moment to be had. Full on interactive fun for everyone.
The show did an awesome job of blending the cartoon with real life characters that encouraged the children’s participation throughout the entire show. I was very impressed. I love when shows are just as entertaining to the parents as they are to the children. I’ll admit I was singing right along.
I wasn’t able to get any really good shots with my phone. I didn’t want to bring my camera because I know they have become strict about that when it comes to seeing shows so sorry I don’t have better photos but that just means you need to go and see it for yourself!
The second leg of the show will be kicking off this fall. Please make sure to visit Super Why Live for more information as new dates and locations are added. You will not be sorry. The kids will love it.
What live shows have you taken your babies to see? Do you plan on checking out Super Why if it makes it to a location near you?
