Just Another MANICure Monday….on a tuesday

So nobody was going to mention to me that I completely and totally forgot to post last week…and then Memorial Day laziness. So here I am. Excuse my tardiness.

Anywho…I have been totally off my game with polishing my nails. I sat down to paint my nails and I totally felt prissy. I promise there is nothing better than freshly painted nails. This week I used Sinful Colors Savage and Revlon Gray Suede.

Sinful Colors Savage

I am in looooooooove with Savage. Love. Perfect for summer.

Revlon Grey Suede

I alternated colors on each hand and threw in a little design:

Time to show off your MANICure for the week. Please feel free to link up from last week as well. Sorry again!

What’s up?!

I know I’ve been elusive around these parts. I have a good random edition blog post coming up this week to fill you in. In the meantime take a look at my nails.

I know its Spring but I went dark this week. Purchased Revlon’s Iconic and found it at the bottom of my tub and decided to give it a whirl. It’s like a deep bluish gray with a hint of little sparkles inside. I’m not crazy about it but I suppose it will do for the week!

I am loving this plant that I was gifted. Unfortunately since I have a brown thumb in the most literal and figurative terms you will likely be seeing this as a backdrop for oooohhhhh about one or two more weeks before its a wrap. I really tried to keep it going but….I digress

Can’t wait to see what you ladies are wearing on your digits this week. Giveaway coming next week for all who link up so if you don’t normally paint your nails, next week would be the time to get in it to win it.

Have a great week!

Beauty Nail Polish

Just Another MANICure Monday

Okay. I think I am finally back in the groove of doing my nails weekly.

This week I wanted to use a few colors that I picked up on clearance recently. The Sonia Kashuk I picked up from Target for $1.38 and the Revlon during a recent half off sale at Rite Aid. I can never pass up clearance nail polish. I mean like ever. It’s all fun and games until you have $15 worth of $1.38 nail polish…not that I know.

Sonia Kashuk: Tantalizing Teal

I’m not sure if I like the Muse on me but it looks really pretty in the bottle. This was my first time using the Sonia Kashuk line. It covered well and could completely get the job done in two coats and the brush was pretty awesome.

Your turn! I have started using a new linky tool that doesn’t require you to have a blog so feel free to link up and show your digits if you don’t have an online home. Can’t wait to see what you ladies come up with. Linky is open until Friday.

Beauty Makeup

My Revlon Expression Experiment

This post brought to you by Revlon. All opinions are 100% mine.

Remember a few weeks ago when I blogged about finally going to get some good foundation. Well quietly that was the start of a very miniscule but growing love for makeup. I’ve always admired a person who was able to “beat” their face for the pure enjoyment of heading to the grocery store while I stroll around with uneven skin tone and thin lopsided eyebrows.  Well thanks to YouTube and some beauty blog perusing I am trying to get better at perfecting my five minute face. I’m no where near there but I have been picking up an eyeshadow here, a blush there.

As a teenager I had awful acne prone skin that I constantly picked in. Who knew then that hindsight would be 20/20 and my dear Mama was right that my reluctance to “stay out of my face” would leave me with dark, crater like things on my face. I figured my fix for this would be to get a foundation primer…one day. Then the heavens opened up, or my mailbox depending on how you want to look at it and Revlon sent me two wonderful products to try out.
