So cliche but it seems like just yesterday and not nearly 8 months ago that I posted about my son’s first day of Kindergarten and now today is his last.
1st Day of School
After his award ceremony on Monday
He accomplished so many milestones this year. I am so incredibly proud of him. I feel like he really came into himself this year. We had no major mishaps and his teacher was exceptional.
We made it through our first school year. Now the questions is what to do with them for the summer. In the past I have done a rather poor job of keeping them highly entertained but now that Addison is older and can hang I plan to have a fun filled summer in store for them..

I plan on take the kids out a lot more this year, last year I was all swole & pregnant & cranky so we didn’t do much over the summer, this year I plan to do much more! I plan on doing the zoo, aquarium, coney island & the big one DISNEY! 🙂

We are still working out vacation plans for the summer. I will have Fridays off this summer, so I plan to keep RJ home with me or let him do some half days at daycare *some* Fridays and we will do fun things together.

May 25, 2012 at 11:57 amwhat a handsome Kindergarten grad! it’s not cliche at all…the time really does flies by. the only thing i have planned is relaxation! maybe a beach get-away for a few days, but that’s about it. enjoy your summer!

This summer we’ll be taking trips to the library for story time, having picnics in the park, vacation bible school and hopefully attending a few cookouts. I’ve also started looking up some crafts to make and am getting them a kiddie pool.
