{kinda} Wordless Wednesday- Football Season

Football practice is in full swing around here. Prior to my husband being named the coach of my son’s team I spoke about being a hypocrite and making my son play football this year. So far he is really shining and is proving my theory right. His dad has been working with him non stop and it is showing. He actually looks forward to going to practice. I’m so proud of him.

I told y’all I knew what I was talking about….this time.

House to Home: Laundry Room Makeover

..So it begins.

Now that the air conditioning is fixed in the house I can start setting my focus on starting some of the smaller projects around here and there are many. I know I said I would do a video tour but somewhere in the boxes that my husband moved to the basement lies the battery charger to my camera…and my camera is dead.

I want to start with something that I can tackle on my own to prove to my husband that if I take my time I can handle some of the smaller projects around here. I have been known to start projects and not finish them, so this is my redemption project to show him that I can paint within the lines and take an idea from conception to completion without his help. Y’all pray I don’t have to ask for his help!

I am giving myself two months at the most and under $200 to make this transformation. Here are the before photos.

T3 Source Showerhead Filter…A Review

Dependent on the location and age of your home you can either have soft or hard water.  In our old home our water was in the middle. We had good water pressure and the water definitely got hot. Against all recommendations for not bathing in scalding hot water, I loved to take a walk on the wild side and as a result my skin was often extremely dry after getting out of the shower.

I was sent the T3 Source Shower Filter to try out before we moved and the installation was a breeze. After a little struggle getting our old shower head off I was able to install the T3 by myself.
