Polish Me Pretty Party at Fab’rik Buckhead

Last Thursday was the debut of the Atlanta Tastemaker Collection blogger inspired S/S nail polish collection

The crowd was great, and the energy was awesome. There was lots of mingling, partaking of Cami Cakes, smiling and manicures.

Sunday we had a photo shoot for the magazine spread. Here is an Instagram sneak peek of one of my shots. The spread will be out the second week in March and I will be sure to share those images when they are available.

Just Another MANICure Monday

This week’s MANICure Monday is dedicated to my new nail color. Last Thursday, the Spring/Summer Tastemaker Collection debuted and my color Glossy Mimi was in the house!

I chose a pastel hue of orange as I wanted something that would be fun and feminine for Spring and Summer. The formula on it is impeccable, it covers well with two coats and the brush is magnificent. There is a slight bit of gold shimmer to it that almost gives it sort of creamy shimmer. I am absolutely thrilled with it.

I plan to do a more in depth interview with Courtney who is the owner of Coco Rae Cosmetics next week.. I am a strong supporter of small business and she has a product that is worth sharing and I sincerely hope she goes far with her endeavors. Stay tuned next week to hear her story.

What I Wore

Last week was Mid Winter Break. My son was out of school, and it was rainy and cold so I stayed close to home. Thursday, I ventured out to Fab’rik boutique in Buckhead for the debut of CoCo Rae Cosmetics Atlanta Tastemaker S/S nail collection. Awhile back I posted that I was one of the bloggers selected to have their own color in the collection. The preview party was awesome. I’ll do a detailed post later in the week.

Operation Wedding

Y’all know I don’t ask much from you, so when I do I hope you get how sincere my request is.

Earlier this week I took a few photos of my neighbors. These photos were used for a submission to win a dream wedding on behalf of our local Fox channel. Operation Wedding will grant one military family the dream wedding of a lifetime but they need votes.

Ancil has been deployed twice and is currently still away from his family working since coming off of deployment. She has been holding down the house and the family while he is away. They are such a deserving and giving family and I would really love to see them get this wish granted.

I said all of that to say, can you please take about 30 seconds to vote for them. Voting is open until 2/29. They are the first on the list. Timeka Russell and Ancil Christopher.
