Heeey!!!! How was your weekend. Mine was one of the crazy ones that was non stop. It started on Thursday and ran clean through to Sunday evening. Glad to finally feel like I am coming out from under the enormous amount of laundry that piled up while I was away. Like the saying goes you actually need a week to get back in the groove when you are coming off of a trip.
Thursday I kicked off the weekend at #Digitini. I was thrilled to receive an invite from Everywhere. They were hosting an event for Ananda Leeke creator of Digital Sisterhood. She was presented a Digital Key to the city by the Everywhere team. I had a great time chatting with her. She is a wealth of knowledge and a very sweet and genuine person.

Saturday was family day. Not sure if I mentioned this awhile back or not but my husband purchased a rust bucket 1972 Oldsmobile Cutlass with dreams of fixing it up. It has been a work in progress and money pit for the past few months. He wanted me to see the progress so I could see where the money was going *shrugs* It still has a long way to go but a lot has been done. I’m happy for him. He doesn’t ask for much and this has been a dream of his. It should be done by his birthday in June. I am thinking about sneaking over to the garage and having something special done to the car for him from me….we’ll see. Shhhhhhh
So while we waited patiently as the Mr. chatted it up with the mechanic…this is what my babies were up to…
Sunday was spent cleaning and preparing for house guests. My MIL and husband’s aunts are in town for my niece’s graduation on Friday. My MIL wanted to spend a week with all of the grandchildren so she came early.
Around 5 I left and headed out to join the Atlanta Style Bloggers for #ASBnightout. We started off the evening at the Artmore Hotel for a few drinks and then headed over to the Alliance Theater for a performance by the Atlanta Ballet. I love ballet. I took it for many years and as with many things wish I would’ve never quit. No worries I’ll live vicariously through Addison.
I digress.

Yes..that cracked screen is my NEW iPhone…I don’t want to talk about it.
The performance was awesome. I think my love for ballet has resurfaced. I can’t wait until the next production.
