The Eyecandy Project 52 | 2/52

I’m late getting my Eyecandy Project 52 post up and for good reason. This week, er last week’s submission prompt was “From Above” and because I knew I would be taking a trip to the mountains with my girls I figured I would wait to snap a photo from the cabin.

As much as I would love to be able to sleep in on the weekends, I simply can’t. Okay, let me be a whole lot honest, I didn’t sleep soundly that night. I mean a houseful of women on a mountain, in a cabin not in earshot of another cabin. I like to think I was the lookout while everyone else slept.

Seeing as how I was startled awake at every sound of the ice maker or someone’s cough, catching the early morning sunrise wasn’t all that hard. I stepped out on the porch to take in the beautiful colors on that unseasonably warm Winter morning. It was so peaceful and this picture did the view no justice. It was absolutely beautiful.
