Fashion Friday…Rain Boots

Rain boots on the brain. Why? Who knows, just recently everytime I see a pair I literally vocalize my desire to own some. I guess I have worn the Mr. out with my ramblings so much so that the other day,  he said to me and I quote, “Mimi, please go find you a pair of those ugly a*s rainboots, I’m tired of hearing about them.” Why thank you, I think I will! So being the responsible adult that I am, I have given myself a budget of $50 to find a nice pair. Hmmm I’m guessing these don’t fall in the budget…cry me a river

 I can see me now, no longer walking around those rain puddles that spring so graciously brings. I’ll be making a splash in my new boots. Hmmm…now I think I might need a matching umbrella and a rain coat.

Do you own a pair? I’m taking votes…weigh in. Should I go classic with the all black or add a splash of color?

    Hahaha 🙂 Do you think if I complain loudly about needing an ipad my guy will catch on as quickly as yours?? {I wish!} I’ve been meaning to get a pair of rainboots for a while, the Burberry ones are classic!

    Mine are leopard print! I love ’em (hubby hates them and everything else I own that is animal print). Go with color!

    I have a black pair of Hunter and entertained the thought of getting a color but I knew for the price, it was safer to stick to black.

    Go for color! I love the purple boots by Chinese Laundry!!! Black is always classic and timeless, but I think color is more fun! I vote for the purple pair!!!

    I love rain boots! Found a pair for $5 buck at a consignment shop. Uber cute plaid print! You know I’m a fan of color, especially for rainy days. They work in the snow too, had them on yesterday!

    I like the colorful one the rainbop one but black will match everything can’t go wrong with that one. Good luck in choosing make sure you get a parka and umbrella to match.

    I have a pair of navy blue Hunter boots. I love them, they were a gift from my mom. I prefer solid color boots and then you can get the liners that have a pattern.

    I have navy pair of Hunter boots that I love but I like that purple pair!! But of course black goes with everything. Ugh LOVE that burberry

    I have a pair from when I was in college. They are pink and patterned. Now, I’d like a solid color, maybe from Hunter or something. I can’t do the patterned boots anymore. LOL.

    i like the Chinese Laundry ones – they look substantial and able to handle some serious rain & mud while still looking cute 😉 i do have a pair – they’re actually the real-deal-type muck boots. not wellies (unfortunately) but the name escapes me. anyhow, mine are an army green color and no, they’re not cute but i look cute in ’em so good enough!

    I love classic always. So, I would go with the black. But, guess what I found. A pair of chocolate brown kids Polo rain boots they also came in hunter green. I posted them somewhere on my blog. If you have small feet, check the kids version of the expensive Burberry boots, they always get marked down first at Saks. Because, who is buying them for the kiddies in this economy. Always check the kids section, a kids 6 fits and I am a 7.5!!!!!!
