Giveaway

I’m Giving Stuff Away

I started this blog in August with the sole intent of doing something that I love, which is write. I had no idea my miniscule piece of the blogverse would introduce me to such wonderful women and an awesome community of individuals. I feel like I know some of y’all in real life!

I am truly grateful for each one of you that stop by here. For sometime I have wanted to do a giveaway on the blog but unfortunately I haven’t gotten the right pitch..okay, I haven’t gotten any pitches. Guess I’m not one of the cool bloggies! Anywho, I thought it would be nice to show my appreciation for your support and readership.

Every day this week, I will be giving away an item that I think every fab mother/woman needs. While these gifts are not extravagant, I happen to think they are must haves. I have scoured the shelves and clearance racks of a many Ross, TJ Maxx, Marshalls and Target trying to find these items. I hope you like them.

Monday’s Giveaway:

I am a stationary junky. Journals, sticky notes, notepads…etc. They do it for me in a major way. I carry at least three mini notebooks on me at all times. They hold anything from my grocery list to my dreams. Today’s giveaway is for a journal. The cover is durable, the pages are sturdy and the reason I really fell in love with it is for the saying on it..

Okay..now for the rules. I don’t want to make this hard for you so there is only one stip to enter..leave a comment. I’m hoping to hear from some of my lurkers!

MANDATORY: Leave a comment about what you will write in your journal. If you do not have a blog please include your email address so I will know where to contact you.

Additional entries will be granted for: Following me on Twitter and/or Facebook. Just indicate which one or both in the comment section. (you can find the links on the left sidebar at the top)

Winners for the entire week will be announced on Friday. I would like to give all of the folks that don’t read every day time to get their name in the running.

Have a great week!

Honestly it would probably be a spot for me to keep my to-do lists. Whether it be grocery lists, or details for a party I am planning, I need one place to keep all my thoughts. Thanks for the giveaway!

I would love it for the fact of being able to keep up with things better. I am post-it note queen. The last little tablet I have now is on it’s death bed. It is full of notes and anything else you can think of. My son always knows where to go if he just so happens to need a piece of paper.

I would probably use the journal to continue writing about my life-motherhood, marriage, family, my dreams, etc. I’ve always kept a journal since I was a young girl and have found them to be very therapeutic.

I would probably use it as a journal or diary. I’ve kept a diary online for quite some time, but it isn’t the same. Writing in a real diary makes me feel like a little girl again. And it’s a more personal experience 🙂

I would use the journal to write to my baby girl— I’m in the process of starting a ‘Mommie knows best’ journal for her that includes tips, tricks, and just notes to her for her to read as she grows.

Well I have a love for stationary and journals too. I would use this journal to write my journey in nursing school. It would also be used to keep track of all my list.

Oh my word! I have found a kindred soul lol!!! Honestly I just had to comment. I need another journal like I need a whole in my head. But if I were so blessed as to get a chance to add to my collection, it would serve as a place to jot down poems, my ideas for my blog, and most importantly titles and plots to stuff that pop into my head while driving. That’s my story and I’m sticking to it.

I’ll join the ranks of stationary junkie you. Heck, we could be addicted to worse! I’d use this journal to keep my fiction novel ideas on track. Something I could keep in my shoulder bag and always have with me. I still love actually putting pen to paper, and not always using an electronic device.

My blog shares a lot of my personal world but it doesn’t put me personal feelings or all my business out there. In my journal, I would like to write more about what I feel and how I have dealt with certain things in my life. I don’t think that we should put everything for the world to see but for me writing is very healing. I’ve always wanted to start a journal but I’ve never gotten around to it. We chat on Twitter and now I’ve got to find you on Facebook!

I’ll use it for blogging ideas before bed! I’ve been keeping a journal since I was 7 and while I have a main one, I also have side ones for other things like business ideas, my baby’s development (if I’m trying to track patterns during a rough patch) or for doodling.

Aren’t you sweet for doing your own giveaways! I was about to say that I’d use the journal for poems & sketches. Then I saw a smart response above mine – to jot down blogging topics and blog ideas before going to bed. That’s what I really need to do!

I’d use the journal to write down my goals. I heard you’re more likely to accomplish them if you do.
