It’s graduation season!
Tassel switching and hat tossing has begun. For the next few weeks some of us will have the honor of watching individuals we know complete their educational journeys. Some will be moving on to college while others will be taking their first career steps. While some step forward with certainty on what is coming next and others are still figuring it out one thing is for sure, they will need to be reached by phone. College, as well as moving into “the real world” is expensive enough, the unlimited talk text and data/web with the Walmart Family Mobile plan is a service that will save parents and new grads a few dollars.
Last week my cousin graduated from college, and although she currently has a cell phone that she uses for pleasure I thought it would be a great idea to get her a WFM that she could use strictly for business purposes. Professionalism goes a long way and as she is looking for a job I thought it wouldn’t hurt for her to have a phone dedicated to business. Having a dedicated phone number to go on her resume will ensure that she knows every call that comes on that line is about a job or professional opportunity and she’ll know to promptly answer those calls in a professional manner. Outside of a college graduate, for those family members sending loved ones off to college this summer or in the fall WFM is also an excellent option.
Found in the electronics section of my local Walmart, it was super convenient for me to pick up the phone and the starter pack I needed to activate the phone.
Unlike other phones of this kind, I love that the service is provided through T-Mobile’s nationwide network ensuring that service is widely available. In the past, services of this kind have offered phones that just kind of looked like they weren’t attached to a contract…you feel me? Not with WFM, the Samsung GALAXY Exhibit mirrors the looks of other cell phones so that grad in your life won’t feel like their phone isn’t up to par in the aesthetics department.
Here are a few other benefits of the Family Mobile plan:
- No annual contract, no credit check, and no deposit
- One bill for all your lines each month
- Live customer support 7 days a week
- No overage charges. Ever.
I was in and out in all of 20 minutes purchasing the phone and getting some help from the Walmart #FamilyMobile expert in the department.
For just $40 a month for unlimited talk, text and data/web my cousin is all set to get on the job hunt. I’m sure her pockets will thank me later once she lands her dream job! When it’s time to give gifts think about a gift that will keep on giving, once she lands that job she can use this phone for a plethora of other reasons. The versatility of Walmart Family Mobile Plans is endless.
