Sun flare is one of those desirable effects to catch in photography, and successfully catching it comes with a little practice. You can see the sun flare in your lens. I didn’t really catch any images this week that struck my fancy so I decided to highlight some here that I caught with my phone when I wasn’t really trying!
Tip: To get sunflare tilt your lens towards the sun making sure not to point it directly at the sun. You’ll see the effects of the sun in your lens, play with your angles until you find a shot that you like. Remember…DO NOT point the lens directly at the sun, I’m sure you already knew that!
Time to link up. Thank you to everyone that is continuing to link up with us weekly. Hard to believe in a few short weeks we will be halfway through the challenge and the year. Time flies!
Be sure to go check out Lashawn and her take and tips on generating sunflare. See you next week!

April 23, 2015 at 11:32 pmI’ve spent so much time trying to avoid flare, that I couldn’t get it when I wanted it. LOL
I do love how it makes photos look magical though.
