Last week was super laid back, if you couldn’t tell. I was not checking for Lipgloss and Binky. When my dad comes to town I get brand new. With the children on Fall break we spent a lot of time outdoors, took a trip to the apple orchard, journeyed downtown to be immersed in all things Frozen at the Disney on Ice production….and Victoria’s Secret had a sale. Last week was good.
I’ve always loved plaid and gingham, and the fall really ramps up my obsession. Glad to see plaid being on trend for the season. Trust me when I tell you, I will be wearing more than my fair share of it.
Oh October. Already? This year is surely getting by. Seems like just a few short months ago we met, and now I’m staring you in the face again a year older not sure the wiser but certainly thankful to see you again.
Here is my October chalkboard artistry for the month. I need to clean it up a little but for the most part this is it. The children love it, it really and truly is the small things with little people.
I went to a wedding Saturday evening. I love weddings. Since our 9th anniversary this past September I’ve really been toying with the idea of doing something epic for our 10th anniversary since we got married at the courthouse. In the next few weeks I plan to start scouting out a few locations to see if we really want to shell out the bucks because if we are going to do it, we aren’t going to half step.
