How was Thanksgiving? Ours was well, we hosted so I did little blogging last week. I mean trying to make sure that the sweet potato pie had enough sugar and the potato salad enough relish required all of my attention and concentration. My girl was the collard green queen. She had that area covered.
I hope you had a great time with your family and friends and have had a seamless transition into the Christmas season. We took our family Christmas photos last week. Can’t wait to show you some of the pics. Here’s a behind the scenes look at one of our photos
A few days before Thanksgiving I took Addison to see the Urban Nutcracker. She is in love with the “brown” ballerinas as she calls them.
I can’t believe it is December. 2014 had fire under it’s……. and surely time waits for no one so now we are at the end of the year retrospecting, planning, figuring out who won’t make it with us into the new year, creating master plans, decluttering, and organizing amongst a host of other end of year rituals.
My end of the year crazy is in full throttle right now. There are so many things I would like to leave in 2014, the biggest being clutter. I’m launching myself onto a December home de cluttering boot camp. I know I won’t be completely done by the end of the year but I plan on having the majority of it done.
I’m starting with every closet in here. EVERY. CLOSET. every closet.
Did you hear me? They say slow and steady wins the race, I think in my case that means a little bit every day.
I think I’m finally ready to really throw myself to Youtube. I’ve been saying for about a little over a year that I really wanted to integrate more video content into the blog. Timing is everything and I’ve really been thinking about my strategy for integrating blogging and vlogging and Youtube into my brand and I think I have it. Please be sure to subscribe to my channel.
Please?
Speaking of, I have a new Day in the Life vlog up. From now on there will be two videos a week, with at least one being a vlog. We’ll see how it goes.
How was your Thanksgiving? What type of videos would you like to see? Have you start making plans for the new year?

December 3, 2014 at 8:26 amDoes your son do pots and pans as well or do you just put them to the side? I’m starting to feel as if I spoil my 11.5 year old…He has no idea what’s in store from him once his homework is done today.

December 3, 2014 at 11:17 amHe does do pots and pans. It has been a struggle getting him to do them properly but he has it down now and it is one less thing I have to do.
