The symbolism of blue throughout this post is very real in a tangible and all the feels type of space. Health insurance is a major discussion these days in light of the changes on the national level. I find myself in my feels because while I so desperately agree with the need for all people to have healthcare, as a result of some of the changes we, as in my family and especially my children are without healthcare because our premium doubled from $500+ to nearly $1k a MONTH
How was your weekend? Ours was a little busy as usual but nothing too much out of the ordinary. I did get a chance to kick it with the homies and pick up a few things to get my garden started. I took y’all with me for the weekend. Weekend Vlog is live!
I mentioned in this décor post that I have to come to grips with the idea that decorating and styling my home to my liking and taste is going to take time…..and money. Once I embraced that idea I’ve decided to just pick up pieces I see and like along the way. I’m no longer trying to finish one room before starting the next, if I see something I like, before purchasing I try to think about where I will put it and if there is a place then I buy it, if the price is right.
The bass in my chest, speakers rattling, simultaneously saying “bust it on the beat” with said rapper describes just a few aspects of my favorite guilty pleasure. I don’t hear the words, I just feel the beat, and I like it….really loud to get the full effect. My guilty pleasure is ratchet music.
