Shutterfly Deals

While digital cameras have been a blessing they can also be slightly seen as a curse because often times our beautiful images inside never see the  light of printed paper. Remember that commercial a few years back where the pictures were fighting over who would be deleted….yeah that

I am absolutely the worse at printing out photos. I do make sure to organize them well within the computer so when I come across good deals I can just upload the folder. Shutterfly is currently offering a great deal of $10 off an order of $10 or more. This can be used for prints, photo books and even phone cases. This is a great time to print out those Christmas photos or turn them into something awesome!

Weekend Wrap Up

Last week was trying to say the least. All of the drama with the house left me mentally fried and I was more than ready for the weekend. I treated myself and got my “hurrr did” to kick off the weekend…cause if you would’ve seen what it looked like before I sat in her chair….if only I had a picture

Anywho.

Saturday I headed to Macy’s to ogle check out Marcus Samuelsson as he gave a cooking demonstration with Macy’s Culinary Council. I’ll do a detailed post later in the week.

My son tagged along, and after we left Macy’s we headed to one of my friend’s house for her son’s birthday party.

Here we are at the birthday party exactly 4 years earlier. We were missing Erika  on Saturday but Niya is in her place. At the time we took the original photo Niya was living in Dallas.

So thankful for these friendships.

After the party was over we headed home and then the Mr. suggested family night so I barely had time to catch my breath and we were back out the door. Since the tripod was already up we snapped this impromptu family selfie before heading out.

We had a great time bowling. In the end the Mr. and I ended up winning one game a piece.

Sunday, I cleaned and got the house ready yet again to go on the market….and then I counted down the minutes until #BeyonceBowl.

Marcus Samuelsson at Macy’s Lenox Sqare

This afternoon I am headed to Macy’s to take part in their Culinary Council that will feature Marcus Samuelsson where he will be doing some demonstrations and cooking up some yummy Superbowl recipes.

Marcus Samuelsson

If you are not aware Marcus Samuelsson is the winner of  Bravo’s Top Chef Masters and he also owns Red Rooster Harlem and Ginny’s Supper Club in NYC. Samuel’s resume is quite impressive as he has also authored an award winning cook book and has had the honor of hosting and planning the menu for President Obama’s first state dinner.

If you are in Atlanta and free this afternoon please join us for a cooking demonstration today at 2p. You will be able to find us at Macy’s Lenox Square location on Level 3.

Please RSVP here!

Hope to see you there!
