Get Your Dishes Cleaner with Cascade Platinum

No, you aren’t having deja vu. This is indeed a different post regarding Cascade Platinum and it’s ability to get your dishes sparkling clean with minimal work.

The first post was dedicated to it’s ability to clean a brownie pan with dried up, caked on chocolate . I didn’t pre wash, rinse or do anything to the pan prior to putting it in the dishwasher.

This time I had a few family members over a few weeks ago and shared with them the cleaning power of Cascade on macaroni and cheese that was left overnight in the pan. Tried scraping off hardened cheese without soaking? Good luck with that.

Like the initial post, I didn’t bother to do anything to the pan prior to putting it in my dishwasher. I even used the speed cycle since they were in a hurry and wanted to see what the outcome would be.

A short 44 minutes later, after a good wash on the top rack this is what we have.

I’ve been using this….well my son has been technically using it since he cleans the kitchen nightly and I haven’t had any issues like I have had in the past with other detergents leaving residue on my dishes. I suppose its the rinse aid, which I didn’t even know existed until this campaign and then to discover there is a special place for it in my dishwasher was an AHA moment.

In case you need a reminder, here are a few tips for making sure that you get the cleanest dishes from your dishwasher no matter what detergent you use.

This has been one of those campaigns where I am pretty sure that I will be making this product a regular in my home. What type of Dishwasher detergent do you use?

This review was made possible by Double Duty Divas and Cascade. I was provided the featured product free of charge to facilitate my review, but all opinions are 100% mine

I’ve been swearing by FINISH Platinum for years. Lately, not that excited about it, I even find that the full packet doesn’t dissolve fully in my dishwasher. It may be something my daughter is doing incorrectly when loading (read the tips on that, thank you!!). I’ll have to give them a try.

Ive been using this clenser for years but always presoaked my dishes. When I read your last post I told my husband about it and of course he was skeptical but we decided to test it out on a dish we baked in and lo and behold it worked! Thanks for the tip.
