Oh Hai 36

THIRTY-SIX. Wow. Today I turned 36 and while it indeed is another year of life that seemed to come full circle in what seemed like only 6 months I welcome it. Every year I examine my life and where I am, and the older I’ve gotten the more kind I’ve been toward myself regarding where I am and where I thought I would be at said age.

See I know now that living life on purpose comes with ups and downs, bumps and bruises but it’s all apart of the game. For the last 12 of these 36 years I’ve been searching and just recently I’ve decided to live and let what will be, be and what chips may fall……let them “mugs” fall. I will always admire blogging for allowing me to document these years of my life long after I decide to give up this space on the interwebs. Here’s a collage of the birthday photos that I’ve shared here since 2011. None for this year, I’ll oblige you next week after the weekend turn up.

Now that I’ve passed 35 and am closer to 40 than 30 I have decided to start crafting a life that is just for lack of better words….C H I L L. This process I assume will mean slowly weeding out those people and things that are not of the C H I L L factor. If I can control it, it needs to be void of drama and nonsense and full of good chi, peace, calm, organic vegetables, pretty flowers, gardens, the perfect lipstick on a bad day, new Tory Burch flats and a mean pair of shades.
