If you’ve ever noticed in the majority of the photos I take in my car or outside I always have on sunglasses. While I do have a love for a good pair of shades mine serve a very important purpose…and not it’s not to “stunt” or “shine on them haters.”
My eyes are EXTREMELY sensitive to the sun. I mean extremely. I’ve spoken with the eye doctor about it on numerous occasions, tests have been done and nothing serious has been found other than the fact that my eyes are just sensitive. I’ll take that diagnosis and continue to feed my obsession, read guilty pleasure with designer sunglasses because if you have to wear them they may as well be fly.
Tip: If you are photographing objects create a simple backdrop by covering cardboard with wrapping paper

February 12, 2015 at 10:47 amYeah, I’m always loving on your shades. I think that’s probably one of the things I miss most, I can’t wear cool shades. My vision is really bad, so I have to be particular about my frames or else the lens will be to thick and the glasses too heavy. But I do always get my lenses tinted because I have sensitive eyes as well.

February 13, 2015 at 1:28 amI have a designer shade curse. When I get something nice…terrible things happen. Let it be a $5-$20 pair…it’s indestructible and lasts a lifetime. How many shades would you say you own. I need to build up a collection.

February 13, 2015 at 9:34 amI always noticed that you wear shades a lot, but I thought it was just because they look nice on you. I had really sensitive eyes as a kid. I would get headaches from playing outside all day if I didn’t have shades on. So I either had glasses with some shade included in them as a kid. I even had the lenses that turned to shades when you go into the sun as a kid. Luckily, I kind of out grew it and my eyes are not as sensitive now.
I love the pair of black and tan shades that you have.
