Another whirlwind weekend and I’m tired. My best friend threw a surprise 35th birthday party for her husband and if you follow me on Instagram you already know we had an awesome time.

My freshman year college roommate...and we still friends!!!
I know some of y’all probably think I’m wild and crazy and I don’t care! I enjoy this life and I have devoted so much time to my family that sometimes it just feels good to get out and have some fun with other couples and that’s exactly what we did.
The next morning we woke up and hit the road to go to Columbia, SC. My husband’s nephew got married and we normally don’t do things with his siblings on his father’s side so despite the fact I had other plans for the weekend I gave them up to support him when he decided we needed to be there.
By this point I was so tired I couldn't see straight...Can't you tell. Oh and Lil Mama's side eye? Epic
Sunday we got back home and while the Mr. caught up on some work I took the babies outside and we played on what turned out to be a beautiful Sunday afternoon. We went out for dinner and came home and relaxed.
My son is out of school all next week for fall break. Yes, I know they just went back. I plan to get out with them and takes lots of pictures and just live in the moment. It’s FALL!!
Enough about me. How was your weekend?

I get so focused on thinking I have to be home with my girls I hate to even think about going out. That has to change after the baby of course. I act like I’m so much older than I am, geesh I’m only in my 20s SMH! Glad you had a great weekend and enjoy the kids this week.
