Living Weekend

…About Last Week

I guess I’m over the drama of the missing toothdepends on what day it is. Caught this picture of her peeking over the island. Mama’s little snaggletooth preemie.

Last week was super chill. I’ve been working on a new project so the majority of last week was spent doing some leg work on that. Had plans to get away for the weekend but they fell through so we ended up having a free and clear weekend. No complaints over here.

I’m happy to say the playroom really has started to get some use. Last week they spent a great deal of time down there. I suppose the fact that I am slowly moving all of their toys down there has something to do with it. I have an updated post on the progress later this week along with a quick little DIY I did for $2 with some items I found at the Dollar Tree.

I’m having a great time changing out the chalkboard every month. Can’t wait for October to get here. Chalk obsessed much?!

Check me out with the blue curls. She loves drawing portraits of her Mama and making a mess with those handprints.

Again….keep that mess down there. She knows to wash her hands and take that shirt off before moving upstairs.

Speaking of…the Dollar Tree I found these Essie nail stickers on my weekly trip there. I won’t tell you how many packs I got but I’mcovered for awhile.

I also slid by the Goodwill and scooped a few things. Haul coming either later in the week or the beginning of next.

Soccer practice starts Monday for Addison so we got cleats and shin guards for her over the weekend. She did pretty good with T-ball and she sure was kicking that ball in my house with a lil bit of skill and efficiency. Can’t wait to see what that turns out to be on the field.

Did manage to catch the OTR special on HBO. Great production, I have no regrets of not going but I feel like if I did I would’ve definitely gotten my coins worth. No worries though…I’ll have straight from the ground commentary on the #ATLast Outkast concert that is going down next Friday. Yesssssssssiiiiiiiiirrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!! #ATLShawty #It’sGOINGdown next weekend

How was your week {end} ? Anything spectacular?

I love love your chalkboard wall. If I can figure out where to put one in my house, I’m definitely doing it.
YASSSSSS at On the Run! I admit my eyes were sweating a little at the end when they did the little montage on the screen.
I spent the weekend at Type A . Umm, I’ll have to decide how I’m going to address that later.

I did absolutely nothing this weekend but I feel as if I was long overdue for some rest. I absolutely adore y’all’s house. So many wonderful areas.

This weekend I spent it volunteering at sons school trying to meet parents and not be the odd ball out at every event. I finally was able to talk to a few parents who weren’t already in a clique I felt like I accomplished that with my big girl panties on. Love the chalkboard but I have a fear of the scraping noise that my teacher use to make and so based on that fear I will never buy one.

I love the chalk board and your festive design. I’m so jealous you will be at the Outkast show live and in living color. I needed them to come this way.
