Fashion Hair Weekend

Weekend Wrap Up

Yeah, its Thursday. So?

So last weekend was action packed as usual. The awesome hostesses Lexi and Danielle who were also behind the blogger Pre Nye Bash invited some area bloggers to a private party at TJ Maxx. We well they participated in a fashion challenge and the winners for the best outfit won giftcards. ( I was late, otherwise…)

Despite my being tardy to the party I was given this…

well actually everyone in attendance got one! I enjoyed hanging out and seeing my old blog buddies and gaining some new ones.

(l. to r.) Arkeedah, Tiffany, Yours Truly, Jade, Trina and Erika

I curled my hair and I did it too tight. I was not impressed with my I wore:

Cardigan: Magaschoni via Marshalls ($5!!!) Belt: Thrifted Jeans: TJ Maxx Purse: Thrifted Necklace: Rue21 Boots: Charlotte Russe

After the event a few bloggers and I headed over to the Cheesecake Factory for some eats..This is the Asian salad and it is the best thing ever.

Saturday, Pinterest finally coerced me into trying one of its many projects. One of my besties came over and helped me make a tufted headboard for my bed…I’ll post about that later…FYI lots of *&^*^% was involved but I am proud considering I am not crafty at all. I’ll post the tutorial and pics on Saturday.

By the way Lexi and Danielle are both separately hosting a $150 GC giveaway for TJ Maxx/Marshalls. You have two chances to win , head over to get your name in the running.

Are you a Maxxinista? What’s the best deal you’ve come across in a TJ Maxx/Marshalls?

Why didn’t you like your hair? I loved it. I came across Tommy purses at Marshalls last week that retailed for about $500 but were on sale for $15-25. I didn’t buy one because I don’t support Tommy after his N-word stunt on Oprah. He’s apologized about but I’m pretty sure that was a front to stop his sales from going down since his line was really popular with Black rappers at the time. But anyways, I’m glad you had a great time.
