Bloggers Like Me-et Up

Last Sunday afternoon, I headed out to Mimi’s Cafe to connect with some of the awesome women who blog and are a part of the Bloggers Like Me group on Facebook. Throughout the internets and Instagram you may have seen #BLMGirls displayed, and if you were wondering it represents for the members of Bloggers Like Me.

I had a great time meeting and chatting with some awesome ladies who are on the blogging scene.  There were some familiar faces and lots of new. It is always so inspiring to sit and talk business/goals with like minded individuals.

At the time of the event my iPhone was still in the shop and I always find it easier to snap pics at events like this with my phone rather than my DSLR. I know… I have to do better so excuse the limited amount of photos 🙁

Great Food. Great Conversation. Great Time!

Escaping a Style Rut…Part I

Style Rut can be defined as that dark hole that we can easily fall in as a result of building a career, joining the ranks of motherhood, or not having the time to stay abreast of the latest trends and styles.

We go from wearing well tailored clothing to “mom jeans” and tattered sweatpants. Those things that we wouldn’t have been caught dead in during the peak of our style career and now we will side eye anyone who attempts to stare too long at our choice of grocery store attire. We know what they’re thinking because we used to be them. Now we just don’t care…Please note I said we…

No more. The fall is coming and what better time to resurrect our sense of style and pride in our looks than the start of a new season.

Ready?

Weekend Wrap Up

This weekend was slightly busy and I am actually gearing up for my busy season. Pretty much I am booked out on the weekends up until about 2 weeks before Thanksgiving. In the midst of all of that Divinitee’s fall line will be coming out and I have to start purging this house of all JUNK. Truth be told half of this stuff “might don’t make it” to the new house. We’ll probably hear our voices echoing off the walls because other than most of our clothes we’ll be starting over from scratch.

Anywho. That’s another post for another day.

This weekend the weather here was rather glorious. Friday my husband worked from home so we all just hung out running errands and such.

Saturday, we got up and headed to my nephew’s football season opener.
