{#OurProject52} Celebrate

Life has been pretty intense lately, but underneath all of the foolery there always lies a reason to celebrate. To be among the living for another second, minute, hour, day, year….is a reason to celebrate. I’m a big fan of birthdays for this very reason because when it comes to living nothing is ever promised.

This past weekend my Goddaughter celebrated her first birthday. This litte firecracker was born on July 4th and in true baby fashion she had a great time smashing the cake!

Comfortable Fashion with FBF by Checka

I was provided compensation for this post. All opinions are mine

As much as I would love to get dolled up everyday complete with hair and makeup that type of daily regalia doesn’t fit my lifestyle right now. I need comfortable fashion that can easily transition from a meeting to picking children up from school to making a quick stop at the store.

I think a lot of Moms think to be well put together they have to have their hair curled with  heels on and that is not so. Casually dressing in no way has to be considered frumpy. Finding pieces that are comfortable and stylish is the key to making sure you are well put together even for the simplest of daily mundane tasks.

I was sent a few samples of clothing from FBF by Checka to review and immediately I knew these pieces would fit my lifestyle by having the capability to be dressed up or down based on the design and texture of the fabric. I don’t own a ton of clothing, and as I purge my wardrobe and start again before deciding to purchase an article of clothing I look at whether it can serve a dual purpose.

I was impressed with this Mori Hoodie because it reminded me of  a stylish sweatshirt. Thrown on with some leggings and sandals I was able to run my errands in style.

I was also sent her Fantasy Halter. Perfect for a date night or just running around these hot months it is super soft and comfortable.

This piece again can be paired with leggings and sandals or dark denim and heels for a night out on the town.

FBF by Checka is the brainchild of designer Francesca Skwark. She wants this fashion line to be seen as one that can be worn from day to night and appeals to the eye as luxurious yet affordable.

Francesca is looking to bring her fashion to the masses with a fun Kickstarter campaign. {Beauty Favorite} RoC Multi Correxion 5 in 1 Night Cream

I am a RoC Ambassador and received this product for review. All opinions are mine.

Over the years I have really become more conscious about my skincare. I’ve mentioned before that I am really not brand loyal and will try anything but I’ve come across a staple with the RoC  Multi Correxion 5 in 1 Restoring Night Cream. As a RoC ambassador I have been sent samples of a few of their product offerings, and I have liked the majority of them but this night cream is

E V E R Y T H I N G.
From the smell to the texture to the results, this night cream is one that must find a home in your beauty product arsenal…or one you should at least try especially for the price.

I only bring and review products here after I’ve tried them for at least 2-3 weeks. Well after week 1 I knew I was sold but said I would stick to the script and it still has not disappointed, if anything it has made me more of a fan as the weeks progress.

Roc 5 in 1 restoring night cream

What’s so great about it? Glad you asked.

  • Texture: It’s feather light but thick at the same time. I am aware that is an oxymoron but just imagine something that is silky to the touch but has the feel of a heavier moisturizer. It goes on so smooth and sinks in almost immediately
  • Smell: If you are not a fan of scented products I think this would still be okay with you. I love the smell, its light but leaves a relaxing scent.
  • Packaging: I’m a packaging lover. The bottle is heavy, I believe it is glass but it is durable. Mine has taken a few tumbles with no nicks. I love it because it seems so luxurious and high end on my vanity but  affordable. Well priced items with luxury touches are always a win in my book. This jar retails for $28.99 and you can find it at your local big box retailer or drug store.
  • Noticeable Results within 4 weeks: Within a few days I noticed a change in the look of my skin the morning after putting the cream on.  Your skin will look hydrated, and dewy as I like to call it. Around 3 weeks I started to notice that some of the discoloration in my skin was starting to blend in and not be so noticeable, and my skin was firmer and just over all healthier looking.

I am in love with RoC Multi Correxion 5 in 1 Night Cream. In love. It is understandable that every skincare product won’t have the same results on everyone, however if you have combination skin like I do, for the price I would say give it a whirl.

Have you tried any RoC products? What are some of your favorite skin care must have products?

{VIDEO} H&M. Gap. Tanger Outlet Back to School Shopping Haul

Hard to believe that in just under a month my children will be back in the classroom. A few weeks ago I took a trip down to Tanger Outlet just to get out of the house and lucked up on some amazing deals for children’s clothing. A few of the sales are still going on so I would say keep your eyes peeled for Spring and early Summer clearance clothing that can easily help you transition your children back to school without draining your wallet.

At Tanger Outlet I was able to score some incredible deals at Gap, Old Navy, Carters, and P.S. for Aeropostale. Believe me when I say I didn’t pay over $7 for any one piece of clothing. I’m still excited about all of the things I was able to find some for as low at $0.50.

Outside of Tanger I also ventured to H&M and found some amazing deals as well. I spent right at $200 and walked a way with a ton of high quality children’s clothing. See what I picked up on the video below. Be sure to thumbs up and subscribe to my YouTube channel for all of my vlogs and videos!
