P.S. from Aeropostale Shopping Haul

Last week I had the awesome opportunity to host an event at P.S. for Aeropostale. This store is a version of Aeropostale that is geared toward elementary school aged children. I often frequent the store to purchase clothing for my son and when I was in there for the event I noticed that sizing starts at a 4 which means I can now shop there for both of my babies….which also means my sweet baby is growing up *weeps*

I am a fan of the brand because the clothing is fun, colorful, age appropriate and washes and maintains very well…not to mention the clothing is extremely well priced.

Such stylish clothing for boys

A few Atlanta bloggers joined me shopping. How pretty are they?

Tiffini, Kymberly and Erika

From now until Nov. 11, 2012 the brand has been so kind to offer an exclusive 20% discount that can be used online and in stores for your shopping pleasure. This discount coupled with the already reasonable prices….Christmas presents anyone?!!!

Print or use online until 11/11

Want to see what I got? Check out the video. Hard to believe I got all of these things for under $100!!

I was provided compensation regarding this post. However, all opinions are solely mine...but you already knew this!!

Just Another MANICure MONDAY

Hey!! Hope your weekend was well and you took some time out to pamper yourself.

I am excited to team up with Efie who blogs over at LaLynns. She will be co hosting this link up with me. We will alternate weeks to take some of the pressure off of me to do what I say I am going to do.

The link is over on her blog today..but before you head over there, here is my MANICure for the week.

Last week I bought 10 bottles of nail polish. I know.

I found my inspiration from this color that I picked up from the L’oreal brand. I love this color. It is 105 Club Prive

I was also dying to use the Kiss nail dress in Babydoll that I received in my swag bag from the event I attended last week hosted by Trina

Here is my final result:

Club-Prive

Head over to LaLynns to link up and show off your MANICure. Take the badge with you if you want!!

Building the House Episode 4

Pretty soon these updates won’t be as sporadic and will likely move to a weekly basis now that things are moving along…kinda sort of. I also think I will incorporate some vlogs into this series at some point.

Well the house is still not on the market. Why? I don’t know.

I keep following up and following up and the agent keeps saying she is going to list it and then nothing. In the meantime I am still working out the details on getting the short sale approved so I am quite sure that is why I haven’t gone completely HAM…not to mention last week we got some word that we may not have to sell our house after all and will be able to keep it as an income property. PRAY!!!!

In light of that news I am stepping back, God may be working out something spectacular for our good and my persistence may be meddling in it. I’ll continue working with the bank and if necessary will find another agent. I’ll just chill on that for another week…I guess.

About two weeks ago they started laying the foundation forms for Phase I using a digger and posi track. Don’t get too excited we are in Phase II but nonetheless I’m happy for whoever is about to get their foundation laid. There is a total of ten forms done after we found a good Concrete Form Rental. They are just waiting for concrete.

Future model home

One day last week I went by and noticed they were running the electrical lines and putting in junction boxes. That day this is where they were in the process. I am standing on our lot looking up the street.

I went by yesterday morning and this is where they were…..

OUR LOT!!!!

DOUGIEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!

Thank you to everyone who has offered a kind word or piece of advice thus far. You are appreciated. To that one person who texts and is joining me on this journey I am praying for you!

Children Lil Mama Weekend

#NaturallyGlam at Glamour Girls Day Spa

From my weekend wrap up post I mentioned that we attended an event on Sunday hosted by Trina. The event was held at Glamour Girls Day Spa in Kennesaw, GA.

Mad for the simple fact she was denied two cupcakes

While the babies played and did their beauty thing the mommies were getting educated on 4 Naturals hair products and techniques to use on adult and children’s natural hair. I learned some very valuable tips and I am looking forward to trying this line of products.

I keep telling y’all Addison’s hair is so dry and I am still so desperate to find something that works other than coconut oil. I will keep you posted on how these products worked out.

The spa was so cute and dainty. Perfect for little ladies. I’m a little shady that we didn’t have anything like this when we were growing up. The best we could get was our Mamas painting our toes and nails…Oh well.

At least they had a great time!

Have you taken your baby to one of these new fangled baby spas?!!
