Weekend Wrap Up

What’s up good people?

This was the most action packed weekend I’ve had in a while. I’ve been chilling and keeping it close to home, so much that I had to force myself to get out this weekend and boy am I glad I did.

Unless you’ve been under a rock or you just stop by this blog ~~cause its so awesome~~ and have no knowings of the bloggy underworld this was the weekend that the infamous Blogalicious conference took place here in Atlanta. I initially wasn’t going to go because of money issues….but God made a way and I was able to go.

Race and Change

I admire people who say they don’t see color when it comes to people. I have often speculated what that might feel like because being truthful I know nothing about that. Before I move on let me clarify I don’t have a racist bone in my body but when I look at people I definitely see color.

The color that I see doesn’t affect my feelings about that person, so perhaps that is what people are referring to when they share their blindness to color, but the over analytical in me won’t let statements as the aforementioned rest lightly.

Randoms…Moving Edition

Happy Friday!

I’ve been MIA for good reason. We finally closed on our new house, packed up our old house, moved and closed on our old house. So much testimony service in those processes that I will be back to tell the stories in depth. However, for now that’s all I have for you.

Out of the gate we have some major superficial issues with the house. The house got a gleaming rating during its inspection, so I’m keeping my sanity holding on to that. The issues we are facing are interior… I know.

5 Must Have Apps for the Busy Mom

Hey! Some of you may have seen on Instagram that we finally closed on our house! FINALLY. There is so much to tell and even more to do to get us moved out of this house and moved into our new one all within the next few days. Let’s not forget to mention that school starts on Monday.

I said all of that to say I hope you enjoyed the guest posters I had this week who held it down while I attempt to get some things in order. Today we have Tori from Glasses and Glitter shedding some light on apps that make life easier for us busy Moms. Show her a warm welcome!
